This is an all-ages open mic jam session geared towards the under 21 crowd. Bring your Real Book, play jazz standards and work on improvisation in a fun and supportive environment. Instrumentalists, vocalists, tap dancers and jazz fans welcome! Professional host trio includes Cliff Swiggett-trombone, Nelda Swiggett-piano, Anna Doak-bass, Randy Doak-drums. Table seating and full dinner menu available. $10 cover

What to expect: Drums, keyboard, upright bass, microphone, bass and guitar amps available for your use. Participants will sign in on a clipboard at the door. List your name, instrument and at least one jazz standard you know and would like to play. If your piece is not in the Real Book bring 3 copies of it. If you are a vocalist bring charts in your key. Invite your friends, play music, order food, have fun!
